The seller and contracting party under these Terms is Doppel Trends, the legal business name under which the Service is operated and sold (referred to as "Doppel Trends", "we", "us", or the "Seller"; "you" being the user). By accessing or using the Doppel Trends website and research terminal (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Doppel Trends is a spatial research terminal that presents stored public data about towns, cities, and neighborhoods: historical trends, peer comparisons, maps, and source metadata. The Service is descriptive and evidence-only. It does not select sites, recommend businesses or investments, produce opportunity scores, or make predictions or forecasts. Historical comparisons and "market analog" matches describe the past only and are not a basis for future expectations.
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have authority to bind the organization you represent.
You must not misuse the Service, including by:
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, design, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have purchased. Underlying public datasets remain the property of their respective sources, which are cited in the Service.
Paid features include the Doppel Trends Pro Pass (a monthly subscription) and Single Trajectory Research Reports (one-time purchases). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled; you may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.
The Service presents data for general research and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, real-estate, or other professional advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or act. Decisions you make are your own responsibility.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law. Underlying data may contain gaps, revisions, or errors from their original sources; missing data is shown as missing.
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; paid access already granted for a completed one-time purchase is not affected except in cases of fraud or chargeback.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions about these Terms can be sent through Paddle's customer support at paddle.net or via the contact details shown at checkout.
