Doppel Trends, the legal business name under which the Service is operated ("Doppel Trends", "we", "us"), is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

• Account data — name, email address, and sign-in credentials (via our authentication provider, including Google sign-in).
• Support messages — any messages you send us when asking for help.
• Usage and technical data — pages viewed, searches and places researched, feature usage, device/browser identifiers, and IP address, collected for security, analytics, and product improvement.
• Purchase records — the fact and status of your purchases and subscriptions (payment card and billing details are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, not by us).

• Providing the Service — account creation, authentication, delivering purchased access. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Security and fraud prevention — protecting accounts, payments, and the Service. Legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations.
• Product improvement and analytics — understanding aggregate usage to improve the Service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Customer support — responding to your requests. Legal basis: performance of contract and legitimate interests.
• Marketing — only where you have consented; you may withdraw consent at any time.

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database and authentication infrastructure, analytics, and support tooling that process data on our behalf.
• Paddle (Merchant of Record) — for the sale of our products, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle acts as an independent controller for payment and checkout data.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above: account data while your account is active, purchase records as required for tax and accounting, and usage data for a limited period. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us via the details shown at checkout or through Paddle's support at paddle.net. We respond within one month where required by law.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and row-level access rules that restrict account data to its owner.

We use essential cookies and browser storage required for sign-in sessions and security. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

Our infrastructure and subprocessors may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

We may update this notice from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
